Khan Communication Services is an agency that provides speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, and behavioral supports. Executive Director, Nausheen Khan is a speech-language pathologist who has created several highly acclaimed programs for young people with special needs.  In 2009 the Alberta Rehab Council awarded Nausheen with the Innovative Practice Award, for creating effective programs such as Terwilleger CHATTER.  Due to the increased demand for this service, a program will begin in St. Albert in January 2013.  Khan Communication Services was nominated for the Premier's Choice award for providing services to rural communities throughout Alberta.  

Khan Communication Services Inc. provides; 

• speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, psychology and behavioral supports to schools in rural Alberta
• classroom based programs with appropriate curriculum modifications for students with special needs
• programs for First Nation and Metis community schools
• workshops and training for teachers and educational assistants
• assessment and treatment services
• telepractice services to schools and rural communities
