Kathy Boer

Kathy graduated from Grant MacEwan College in 2003 with a Therapist Assistant Diploma in Communication Disorders. In 2009 Kathy obtained her education degree and teaching certificate from the University of Alberta. She teaches in the Interactions Program that services children with special needs.

Initially Kathy worked as a speech assistant for Edmonton Public Schools in a site based PUF program under supervision of a speech language pathologist. Kathy has worked for Khan Communication Services for 7 years in a variety of group therapy programs including Little CHATTER, CHATTER, Ready Set Go, Mingle and Move, Express Yourself, and Fun with Fables. Kathy has acquired her PECS certificate and provides services to clients with significant needs.

Kathy is a group leader for the CHATTER program. She has extensive experience working with children and teens diagnosed with autism and asperger's syndrome. She also provides private individualized services to private clients.
