Nausheen Khan

Khan Communication Services, Inc. was developed in 2002 by Nausheen Khan. Nausheen is an award winning speech language pathologist who has developed highly regarded treatment programs for children with autism. She has selected a high quality team of speech language patholgists, occupational therapists, behavioral consultants, and speech language assistants to work with her. Each clinician has developed unique and effective programs for students with special needs that are delivered in schools across Alberta.

Nausheen Khan graduated with a Master's in Communication Disorders from McGill University. She is currently Past President of the Alberta College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists. She is a member of the College, and has advanced certifications from the American Speech Hearing Association. She continues to consult for Family Support for Children with Disabilities, a program within the Ministry of Services Alberta. She is a member of the MDT review panel for Edmonton and Area. Nausheen was also a member of the Dean's Advisory Council for the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Alberta.

Nausheen enjoys time with her husband, Arif Khan, and their two daughters. The Khan family continues to advocate for the needs of autism in the community. Arif Khan is Past President of the Autism Society of Edmonton. Their daughters are mentors in the Terwilliger CHATTER program. During their free time the Khan family enjoys travelling together around the world to learn about people and places abroad.
