Sandy Paddick

Sandy has a BFA in acting from the University of Alberta. She received her Masters in Speech Language Pathology from University of Alberta in 1999. With a background in theatre, Sandy has created several group therapy programs for Khan Communications including Mingle and Move, Fun with Fables and the Giggle Group. Sandy is a lead speech language pathologist in the practice, and provides mentoring to students for their practicums. Sandy was a clinical educator at the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at University of Alberta. She had implemented several More Than Words parent programs and has worked with Dr. Veronica Smith to collect pre and post treatment data using the LENA device. Sandy has presented at several conferences on the use of puppetry in Speech Pathology.

  • Learning Language and Loving It (Hanen Program)
  • Kaufman Treatment Program for Apraxia

  • Basic DIR course on Floortime
